Anti-Aging Haul

Hi Beauties

About 3 months ago I had an anti-aging haul and have been using the products I bought. I wanted to review them for you, now that I have been using it for all these months! I’m going to start of with my most favourite out of the
four items I got, it is the most expensive out of the lot but it has been the most effective!

Eau Thermale Avene Ystheal

Don’t ask me what the name means as this is a French product so nearly all the product info on the bottle and packet are not in English. It does say that this cream is eye and lip contour care. So this cream is for lines, I have been using it on my forehead, eyes and anywhere I see lines! A little goes along way with this product. It looks just like any cream when pumped out of the bottle and is absorbed by the skin right away. After 3 months of use I really have seen a reduction in my lines! I wake up feeling smoother and hydrated than before I used this product. Worth every dollar!

Rodial Glamtox Night

This product has very unique packaging, it appears to be a tub but actually it is a pump. You push the top down and the gel comes to the surface. Product is a yellow gell that is absorbed by the skin and gives an instant quick
fix. This product will not reduce lines long term unless you continue to put it on twice a day. I did notice my lines go away when I did use it though.

Nip+ Fab Skin No Needle Fix Serum

This product plumps and volumizes the skin to banish lines and create smoother looking skin. It has a clear creamy gel that is easy to spread on the face it has a primer consistency to it. Pretty quick reacting with the skin but isn’t something that will keep the skin looking young for long you would need to reapply often to keep the look going.

Nip + Fab Viper Venom Wrinke Fix

This product is great for oily skin! Before makeup I place small amounts of this all over my face. It has a sticky thick gel consistency and you get quite a lot of product in this tube. A skin refining serum, it helps reduce lines and
wrinkles. This actually not only deminishes my lines but helps keep my makeup in place throughout the day so it is a quick fix for both lines and makeup!

What are some of your go to anti-aging products? Have you tried any of these and what did you think?!

next time xx

What Your Handbag Content Says About You!

Hi Beauties!

Recently a girlfriend and I compare our handbag content and it was an interesting insight! I wanted to share mine with you all.

I find you can tell a lot about someone and what is important to them by what’s in their handbag. My girlfriend had majority work related items in there and barely any personal use items at all and it rang true as she is a big workaholic! Another friend of mine has her handbag filled with vitamins and protein bars etc she is very health conscious and her bag reflected that. After looking at mine I think it shows I need a lot of items that can take me from day to night which is true as my plans tend to change a lot!

A few years ago I used to have a much larger handbag and used to carry a lot of unnecessary items! I then ditched the big oversized bags and now carry smaller shoulder bags which I have decluttered to only have the essentials inside !

Here are the essentials items I have inside always:

Wallet / coin purse: I tend to use larger coin purses as wallets and I don’t take all my cards with me just what I need that day.

Perfume and Deodorant: I have both as I feel they serve two different purposes. Combating sweat and keeping that under control is one thing but I also want to smell nice in general hence the perfume. This changes depending on what I am doing, I tend to wear different perfumes for fancier occasions!

Planner / diary: I try to keep my planners as small and simple as possible as I don’t want to drag around a big book with me. Sometimes I have to do a planner decluttering as I tend to slip receipts/ notes etc into it and it can get a little crazy…

Comb and hair pins: you never know when you might need to pin your hair up whether it’s to create a more sophisticated hair do or just to get your hair away from your face! Hairbrush is essential on rain and windy days too.

Lip balm and lipstick:  I tend to keep a nude lipstick on me always as that goes with most looks and outfits and if I need lipstick it is there. Lip balm is great for everyday lip moisturiser and primer for lipstick! No one has time for chapped lips….

Concealer : For those times when my eyes need a pick me up and I want to freshen up my face. Especially on days when I haven’t had enough sleep but have important meetings to attend. Additionally great for hiding sneaky pimples that pop up during the day!

Eyeliner: This I have in case I need to change from day to night and don’t have time to go home and do so! Could be a simple winged eyeliner or a dramatic full black liner eyes which you can smoke out for a darker look. Good item to have as it takes up so little space! Just be sure note to mistake it for a pen!

Mirror: I’m not one of those people that can use their camera phone to check their face, I need a mirror and this cute little compact is slim and small great for on the go.

What does your handbag content say about you?

Until next time

Spring has arrived here in Sydney and I am so looking forward to playing around with new brighter shades when it comes to make up and making it all pop.

As a first ‘Spring inspo’ (springspiration) I just wanted to add a small peach hue to the cheeks and peachy pink lips.

Here are the products I used:

Lips: Essence ‘Like a princess’ lipstick + Rimmel Apocalips Lip Velvet ‘atomic rose’

Cheeks: From Missa website – Santee Sun Kissed blush shade 06

Lashes: eBay lashes! + Essence Multi Action Mascara

Foundation: Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able foundation + Ben Nye Nuetral Set powder

I would love to know if you guys have any recommendations for great Spring shades for lipsticks, blush or eyeshadows!!

Hope you like the look X

Until next time X

Cream Contouring

Hi Beauties

I wanted to share my cream contour routine with you, I’ll be using the Australis Cream Contour Palette:

After applying foundation (in this case my L’oreal pro matte foundation) I then took the yellow shade and applied it under my eyes and forehead with a damp beauty blender, I then took the darkest shade and dabbed it to darken under my cheek bones, jaw line and hair line ….

I then blended it all out with my beauty blender and applied setting baking powder under my eyes and forehead:

I then brushed off all powder and resumed completing my look (blush, eyebrows, lashes etc) below is the final look:

Do you prefer cream or powder contouring and why?

Until next time
